Day 1

Day one is finally done!! After a relatively good first session from Sasolburg to Heilbron, things started to deteriorate!! From Heilbron to Petrus Steyn we had a terrible crosswind to deal with!! From Petrus Steyn to Reitz we headed straight into the wind and onto the mountains!! Although not all of the guys finished the day on the top of their bicycles, all of us made it safely to Reitz.

A big congratulations to Ernst and Kolbé, who despite getting onto the bus completed their longest distance ever, way more than the 38km that they previously did and more than anyone expected they would do on their mountain bikes!!

Also congratulations to Ernst for winning almost all of the prizes at the "Fines Ceremony"
